Job Summary: The senior compensation consultant provides high level human resources consulting to a variety of clients. The senior consultant will play a key role in supporting the successful growth and development of the expanding HR operations function including initiatives that drive efficiency and standardization of processes within clients. The core of this position requires a highly detailed, motivated, process-driven and proactive person who embraces the opportunity to help grow an institution where innovation, creativity and inspiration meet. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Work independently and manage all client and vendor relationships that are provided, or you obtain. 
  • Prospect for new business and vendor relationships through networking and former contacts. 
  • Build pay grade levels for exempt, non-exempt and sales positions. 
  • Build career ladders within the pay grade levels. 
  • Do salary surveys and benchmarking positions. 
  • Develop bonus structure within the job grades established. 
  • Provide consultation, recommendations, and policy-based guidance to clients. 
  • Continually review and communicate best practices in the world of compensation. 
  • Manage custom built applications to better deliver high quality material in a very efficient time utilization 
  • Collaborate with Flex HR’s other consultants to build team support. 
  • Provide support to employee relations matters including counsel on progressive disciplinary actions in efforts to achieve improved behavior or performance standards. Provide guidance to clients concerning sensitive work-related problems. 
  • Develop training and development programs for clients. 
  • Serve as lead for clients in supporting and developing efficient, standardized departmental processes and procedures; Recommend new approaches/procedures and best practices to effect continual improvement of operations performed. 
  • Monitor client policy adherence to ensure appropriate, accurate, and consistent application including proper documentation, and legislative compliance. 
  • Encourage open communications and promote a positive work environment within clients. 
  • Help obtain 85-90% retention for clients. 
  • Other projects as assigned by CEO. 

Job Requirements: 

  • 10 years of measurable success in a full scope HR generalist role with increasing responsibility; 7+ years in HR leadership role; 4+ years building compensation levels would be a plus. 
  • Demonstrated success in leading change management initiatives across a diverse organization. 
  • Strong HRIS systems knowledge, employee relations, compensation and HR processes. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices & processes. 
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Employment Law as well as current employment related legislation. 
  • A strong sense of urgency and business acumen. 
  • Ability to understand, quickly react and motivate others to adapt to the changing organization environment is a critical key to success. 
  • Proven ability to establish ownership and drive assigned initiatives through to completion on time; meeting or exceeding expectations. 
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills; including demonstrated ability to build consensus and establish trust; outgoing personality. 
  • Flexible work schedule to meet the demand of your assigned clients. 
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, and eager to learn. 
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Suite, and HRIS applications.

Job Summary:

The position develops, implements, administers, and maintains benefits programs, policies, and procedures for our clients. The incumbent will work with the client, our Client Success Managers (CSM) and the client’s benefits brokers to ensures programs meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. The Benefits Manager works with the vendors to develop benefits communications, helps prepare client communications along with the CSM and counsels’ employees on benefit related issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee benefits for all Flex HR clients.
  • Manages the open enrollment process annually for our clients. This includes but not limited to:
    – Kicking off open enrollment process by supplying updated census to the broker
    – Playing an integral role in helping the client select the best and most cost-effective options for their group.
    – Coordinate education meetings and OE dates.
    – Collect all the enrollment selections from the broker and help get them loaded into the payroll system in time for first effective date payroll.
  • Audit and oversee our internal CCDS documents with updates related to benefits for FHR clients. Ensure benefit invoice reconciliations are completed each month by working closely with the CSM for each client
  • Maintain SOP on Benefit reconciliation and test each quarter.
  • Develop and maintain successful working relationships with the Flex HR employees and management team as well as clients to provide effective benefit and enrollment support.
  • Train CSM’s and others on benefit management, compliance as needed or new changes that occur.
  • Keep a summary schedule on open enrollment 6 months out.
  • Work with Sr. VP on documenting and writing process & procedures pertaining to benefits.
  • Manage the internal Flex HR Benefits, website, reconciliations etc.
  • Responsible for completion of special projects and other duties as assigned throughout the year by management.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist, with heavy emphasis and understanding of benefits. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be detail and deadline oriented, with strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Very strong math comprehension for calculating benefit cost.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint/Excel/Word.

Job Summary:

As a Human Resources & Leave of Absence Manager, you will represent Flex HR, Inc. as the main point of contact for our clients. You communicate with clients daily to provide training, support, issue resolution and assist with human capital management.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Communicates with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or modified work schedules. Ensures that employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for and to take leave.
  • Handles the FMLA leave administration process from the employees initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work. This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use.
  • Maintains reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work; relays communication between employees and their managers during leave within reason.
  • Advises managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, workers compensation, and short-term and long-term disability benefits.
  • Oversees the return-to-work process for employees returning from extended FMLA, workers compensation, or other leave(s).
  • Facilitates other leave requests, which may include accommodation requests under the ADA.
  • Provide exceptional quality service and effective communication with our clients.
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure thorough, accurate, and timely resolutions are provided to our clients.
  • Assist with internal projects and align with other departments to achieve company-wide goals.
  • Proactively identify issues and utilize available resources to identify appropriate solutions for client.

Summary:

The Payroll Specialist performs payroll-related functions, including payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, automated timekeeping systems and payroll reporting in a multi-site, multi-state, high-volume environment. The Payroll Specialist provides excellent customer service to managers and associates and is well versed in payroll compliance, taxes and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for keying all employee new hire data, changes and benefit deductions, etc
  • Responsible for preparing multiple payroll batches for client’s approval
  • Ensures timely and accurate preparation of multi-client payrolls in all payroll frequencies
  • Ability to process Benefit deductions from gross invoice amounts through final payroll deductions for each employee
  • Manages 401K entry and appropriate deductions, matches as well as 401K Provider submissions
  • Enters and watches over all FSA, HSA entries and submissions as needed to third parties.
  • Prepares and pulls reports for census data and audits as needed
  • Interfaces with Human Resources on employee HR and Benefits issues (all types of  Employee deductions, 401k loans, Garnishments, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate entry and processing
  • Must be very dependable and able to initiate all payrolls independently while working in a team environment
  • Performs other related duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in accounting or business administration or 2-3 years of payroll related experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and written communications
  • Excellent Excel & report writing skills
  • Payroll knowledge necessary for this position.
  • Experience with multiple payroll platforms is helpful.
  • Evolution and PayMatrix payroll systems experience a plus.
