Jennifer Morehead Flex HR CEO

Jennifer Morehead

Jennifer “Jenny” Morehead is the CEO of Flex HR. She is an entrepreneur, sales and marketing expert, independent board member, and author. She prides herself on building strong teams that exceed expectations for their clients. Before Flex HR, Jenny successfully launched and ran a company that created marketing solutions for local businesses through the country. She created a high growth environment for the business and ran human resources in addition to her duties as CEO. Before her marketing solutions business she helped run a sales department at a media company that included roles in recruiting, hiring, and putting together new employee training sessions.

 

Jenny earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and her MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Jenny co-authored Make Your Business Social, which was published by New York-based Business Expert Press. She has also written CEO From Home, expected in 2021 from John Hunt Publishing. CEO From Home details how people can start, acquire or maintain a virtual business and features important human resources advice throughout the book.

 

Jenny is married to her husband Brad and has three sons. She serves on numerous boards including the leadership council for the Field Museum, the regional council for Northwestern University, and the guild of the Chicago Botanic Garden.

Jim Cichanski

President and CEO of Flex HR, Inc., Jim has 30+ years experience in human resources, holding senior level positions in companies that were privately held, pre-IPO, foreign owned, joint venture, Fortune 50 and one labeled the “fastest growing F1000 in America.” He has a solid background in high tech, manufacturing, services and management.

 

His background in human resources includes organizational process evaluation and improvement, labor laws, integration of businesses, cost reduction, organizational development, and all functional areas of human resources. These include but are not limited to Benefits, Compensation, Staffing, Diversity, ERISA, DOL Compliance, Immigration, Learning & Development, Stock Administration, Executive Compensation, Employee Relations, and over 300 Mergers & Acquisitions. Jim’s experience includes operational HR management knowledge globally in 32 countries, and has transitioned companies from 30 to 67,000 employees worldwide. Companies he has worked for include UnisysNovellPremiere Technologies and PaySys International. Jim is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

 

Jim also spent 26 years in the Army National Guard achieving the rank of Colonel, was inducted into the Officer Candidate School Hall of Fame, and received numerous awards including the Legion of Merit. Jim holds a BA in Applied Behavioral Sciences, is a graduate of the Department of Defense Equal Opportunity Institute, has served on the board of HealthSource of Georgia, and was an inside board member of 17 companies. He is an active member of many HR professional organizations.

Megan Carpenter

HR Consultant

Megan has demonstrated many years of success in human resources and strategic leadership across a variety of business environments. She is very results- oriented, leading human capital through diverse business cycles and has an extensive background working with high-growth, start-up and multiple, high-volume organizations. Megan enjoys providing HR consulting services and facilitating implementation of solutions that align with the company’s overall direction.

 

Megan’s HR knowledge spans compensation design, multi-jurisdiction handbook design, HR analytics, policy & program development, employment law, employment relations, project management, recruitment, on-boarding efforts, and compliance.

 

Megan currently resides in the Washington, DC, area and has served as a trusted HR-oriented thought partner for business leaders across the U.S. in their development, implementation, and evaluation of people-related programs, policies, and initiatives.

John Cascone

DPA, Senior Vice President

Dr. Cascone has been a Senior Vice President at Flex HR since 2005. During his tenure he has served as an HR consultant to numerous CEOs and Presidents of small and medium size companies in the United States and abroad. His primary areas of specialization include: Executive and Management Development, Strategic Planning, Capacity-Building and Corporate Compliance.

 

Prior to joining Flex HR, Inc., Dr. Cascone served as Executive Vice President Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., a $ 6.5 billion public company and leading provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services to Fortune 1000 companies worldwide. While at ACS, Dr. Cascone provided leadership in successfully integrating the 700+ employees from Consultec, Inc. into ACS’ Government Services Division of over 20,000 employees. During this integration, Dr. Cascone served as the Vice President of Human Resources and was successful in supporting a 250% increase in revenue growth.

 

Prior to ACS, Dr. Cascone spent over twenty years in Human Resources management and executive positions at Consultec, Inc. In this capacity, Dr. Cascone successfully established a Human Resources Department, and then led the department and the company’s growth to 1,100 employees. Dr. Cascone has also held faculty appointments to the Graduate Schools at Emory University, The University of Georgia, the University of St. Francis and Atlanta University, where he has taught graduate courses in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Principles of Management Administration and Public Policy. Dr. Cascone currently teaches management and public policy studies as an Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University.

 

Dr. Cascone’s international experience includes serving as a consultant to the Carter Center, The Ministry of Health for Egypt and MEMO International, an Egyptian Consulting Firm specializing in providing Management Development Services to organizations and governments in the Middle East. Additional consulting engagement include: Sigma Consulting and Training, a company located in Dubai UAE; the UAE Ministry of Education, Zayed University in Dubai and the Apollo Hospital System, Mumbai, India. Dr. Cascone also serves on several Boards of Director including the Commission on STEM and STEAM Accreditation.

 

Dr. Cascone received his Doctoral Degree in Public Administration from The University of Georgia, a Masters Degree in Social Science from Fordham University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Spring Hill College. He is a member of numerous of professional associations.

Philip A. Davis

Senior Vice President

Phil Davis has a broad background in human resources and organization development, including senior level experience with companies broadly recognized for their progressive human resources practices such as General Electric, Frito-Lay, and Pitney Bowes. His industry experience includes manufacturing, foods, IT consulting and national and international sales/marketing organizations. As a corporate executive, Phil has performed at the business leadership level since 1980. Phil is highly accomplished at helping organizations grow, building organizations and infrastructure, and in tailoring Human Resources programs and initiatives to the exact requirement of organizations in high change environments.

 

His accomplishments include 1) supporting the development and implementation of a consumer focused marketing and sales organization at GE-Lighting to reverse revenue/price erosion and the thwart industry trends toward private label and generic products; 2) the commercial integration of Borg Warner Chemicals into GE-Plastics in 120 days thereby retaining critical commercial talent; 3) the divestiture and process re-engineering of Monarch Marking Systems from Pitney Bowes to Paxar creating an additional $100 million in market value; 4) the consolidation of eight of M.A. Hanna’s plastics compounding businesses achieving dramatic reductions in product development and product delivery cycles; and 40) the development and implementation of a full suite of support systems for the consolidation of five free standing IT consulting firms that together formed PSINet Consulting Solutions.

 

Phil’s Human Resources consulting experience includes many high tech and services related industries. He specializes in quickly assessing business issues and opportunities, and in helping management cost effectively achieve their business goals and develop their human capital assets.

 

He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with an M.S. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Psychology.

Shannon Deamer

HR Consultant

Shannon’s proficient track record includes increased direct-hire placements among teams, high client retention and rapid job placements for mid-level to executive roles in a variety of industries. Her dedication and exceptional abilities have consistently yielded high growth within organizations throughout her profession.

 

She earned both her BS in Psychology and BA in Sociology from University of New Orleans, and an MA in Industrial/Organization Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. Most recently, she has completed her coursework toward a Doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

 

Shannon is distinguished by certified credentials that signify her expertise and dedication to the highest degree of professionalism. She is a Certified Staffing Professional as well as a Certified Search Consultant with the American Staffing Association. She is also a dynamic presenter and speaker having led numerous workshops for various organizations. Using her mastery and leadership abilities, Shannon is invariably passionate about her goal to positively impact the lives of others.

 

She enjoys volunteering with her church and local nonprofit, Empower225, and serves on two organizations in Chicago as a Board member. She is a mother of two – 1 daughter and a bonus daughter – and two fur babies – oversized cats who act like dogs. Shannon spends most of her time with family, friends, and helping people in need. She is so passionate for the work that she does, which never really feels like work to her.

Chad Dresnick

HR Consultant

Joining Flex HR as a senior payroll and data consultant, Chad has over 20 years of experience. His passions include system automation and creating efficiencies to allow human resource professionals time to do what they love, work with people.

 

Chad specializes in payroll processing, system implementation, general ledger interface, custom reporting, third-party integrations, time & attendance, and security configuration for clients across the globe.

 

He has worked with multi-state and multi-country employers in a variety of payroll systems. He has worked with clients in automotive, healthcare, finance, hospitality, and manufacturing industries including employees under collective bargaining agreements. He has expertise in states with state, local, county, and school district taxes.

 

Chad has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Administration from Colorado Technical University in Boulder, Colorado. He has attained both his PHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. Chad has his Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Project Manager, and Microsoft® Office Master certifications. Additionally, Chad is certified in ADP® Workforce Now for Payroll, Human Resources, and Time & Attendance.

 

In his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time with his family and his cat, Calli. Chad volunteers with the Miami Valley chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and works with Daybreak Dayton. Chad is an avid cook, baker, and canner.

Matinah Drew

HR Consultant

Matinah joined Flex to help manage consulting and recruiting projects for Flex HR’s clients. Her responsibilities include managing the recruiting process, consulting with our clients on new hiring needs, talent acquisition, and future talent growth planning with our clients. Matinah has worked with applicant tracking systems to assist clients everywhere through the country.

 

As a Certified Staffing Professional and Search Consultant, Matinah is poised to bring her recruiting expertise to the next level through accessible hiring practices to employers and improved job search strategies and career coaching for job-seekers. Matinah has been recruiting for nearly 10 years.

 

Matinah holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Organizational Development and Clinical Psychology, as well as professional HR certifications, including SHRM-SCP and PHR. Additionally, she is a certified recruiter. Based in Putnam County, NY, Matinah spends most of her time outside of work with her family enjoying road trips across the U.S.

Holly Duffy

HR Consultant

Holly Duffy joins Flex HR after been in the HR & Benefits space for 15 years. She has worked directly as well as in a consulting capacity in a variety of industries including Technology, Healthcare, Construction, Government, Non-Profit, Manufacturing, Retail & Education. She absolutely loves the variety and fulfillment she gets from being a HR Consultant. Being able to train clients on their new HRIS system and see their confidence with utilizing the software grow is extremely gratifying.

 

Holly specializes in HRIS implementation of benefits, recruitment, new hire onboarding, analytics, compliance & ACA reporting. She also enjoys processing payroll, working on audits, creating HR policies & procedures, as well as customized system training. She especially enjoys partnering with her clients to prepare for and execute a successful paperless open enrollment, utilizing all of the self-service options available via their HRIS.

 

Holly possesses her bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Northern Kentucky University and is PHR and SHRM-CP certified. She also maintains her status as a certified Human Resources Specialist in ADP Workforce Now. In addition, Holly is active in the HR community and is currently the SHRM Foundation Chair for the Northern

 

Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management. She is a strategic and innovative HR enthusiast but also loves the tactical technology components of HR, optimizing and creating efficiencies for her clients.

 

Holly lives with her husband in Northern Kentucky, where they both enjoy traveling, hiking, attending concerts and sporting events as well as cooking a delicious meal together.

Barry E. Flink

Executive Vice President & Partner

Barry Flink has over 35 years of management experience in multiple industries. Concentrated in HR, he has also managed several companies involved in the hospitality, restaurant operations, nonprofit, logistics and commercial real estate.

 

Barry has core competencies in: Hospitality Management (hotels, restaurants, institutional foodservice), Human Resources (employee relations, compensation, labor relations, management development and, organizational development) General Management (strategic planning, marketing, public relations, process management, urban infrastructure, leadership and, mergers & acquisitions).

 

Barry served in a number of corporate executive positions. As Vice President, Human Resources for Wells Fargo Armored Service Corporation, he reengineered the human resources and legal department, and brought substantial cost savings to the Corporation. As Sr. Vice President of LEP Profit International, a global freight forwarder, Barry was a key player in the successful merger of Profit Freight Systems and LEP International. His management of Puerto Rico operations of LEP produced over $1M profits to the Corporation. He served as Chief Operating
Officer of Hoffman & Co. and has held senior management positions with Service America Corporation, the Greyhound/Dial Corporation, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Intercontinental Hotels, and BellSouth Corporation.

 

Additionally, Barry is an Executive Residence at Kennesaw State University (KSU) and has served on the Board of Directors of both Georgia Tech’s College of Management and KSU’s Coles College of Business. He currently serves on the President’s Advisory Board of Oglethorpe University and has served on the Small Business Council of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and elected to the St. Josephs Hospital Advisory Board. The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce nominated Barry as “Outstanding Business Person of the Year.”

 

He currently serves as a guest lecturer at several major universities in the United States and Canada and has published articles in several influential human resource journals He authored a chapter of a college textbook, BUSINESS ACCUMEN II.

 

Barry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Tech with a double major in management and psychology and a minor in urban sociology. His MBA was earned at Georgia Tech and Georgia State University in the state of Georgia’ first joint enrollment program. Barry is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for business school graduates.

 

Married to Vicki Flink for 45 years, they have one son, David who is CEO of Eye to Eye, a national mentoring organization for children with learning disabilities.

Heleen Grossman

Senior Vice President

Heleen Grossman is a results-oriented executive with over 30 years of experience in Human Resources and Sales. She has multifaceted experience with major Fortune 100 companies such as Mars, Inc., Quaker Oats, PepsiCo, and Kimberly Clark.

 

Her current area of focus however is working closely with Senior Leaders within smaller organizations to help them with their Human Resources challenges. This includes audits, compliance, training (including Respectful Workplace training), employee relations, and integrating or creating new procedures and policies to reduce risk in
the organization.

 

Heleen is a native of Atlanta and holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Georgia and a Masters Degree in Human Resources from Georgia State University.

 

She is currently a member of SHRM – The Society of HR Management (National and Atlanta Chapter), Professional Women’s Network, a mentor for Pathbuilders (a mentoring organization for women), member of several Chambers and Networking Alliances, and a volunteer in her community for many local programs and projects.

Mary Ann Haskins

HR Consultant

Mary Ann is an experienced, senior human resources professional with a passion to encourage and support a strengths-based culture in a professional, ethical manner. She uses fresh ideas and proven knowledge to build, develop and transform organizations and staff for optimum operational success. Mary Ann has over 30 years of HR knowledge and is skilled in creating an employee-oriented, high-performance culture while emphasizing goal attainment and superior workforce optimization.

 

Mary Ann’s comprehensive background includes working at major companies like AER Energy Resources and Siebel Systems, which was bought by Oracle. Mary Ann has a very broad knowledge base that contributes to her successful consulting including implementing HR policies, payroll procedures, compliance audits, employee & management training, benefits, payroll, leave administration, compensation analysis, recruiting & talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.

 

Mary Ann has built multiple start-up HR departments with emphasis on compliance and systems support. This included identifying and implementing HRIS systems and all processes guiding the support and compliance in the HR functions. She coached, guided and counseled the development of individuals, the organization and the strategic recruiting process.

Jacki Hertenstein

HR Consultant

As a seasoned HR executive, Jacki joined Flex HR and continues her proven and repeated track record of building, leading, and scaling high performing People teams for global, high growth technology companies.

 

Before coming to Flex HR, Jacki’s experience includes building a robust and highly talented HR organization that enabled the business to scale from $1M to 100M+ revenue and expand internationally in two years. She also grew the employee headcount grew from 100 to 2,000 within the same time period which resulted in the sale of the company where she led integration efforts.  In another role, she grew the employee base from 650 to 1500 in over 23 countries in two years.  This included scaling the People function globally and introducing a shared services model for the business as well as leading the integrations of four acquisitions. Other positions she’s held include running global HR for publicly traded and private-equity backed companies.

 

Jacki enjoys the Chief People Officer role where she builds and oversees all the people operations, business partners, total rewards, HRIS, talent acquisition, talent development, DEIB, Mergers & Acquisitions, and engagement programs to support a company’s growth. She is very knowledgeable in directing operations on a global level with experience with Global People Teams and heading up Global HR departments.

 

Jacki received her Bachelor’s Degree from State University of NY and her Masters in HRD, from Georgia State University.  She is originally from upstate NY, but has lived in Atlanta for over 25 years.  Jacki is an avid Buffalo Bills fan, loves to travel, and is an animal rescue advocate.

Carolyn Hill

Vice President

For over 17 years, Carolyn has proven leadership experience in Human Resources, with a strong business partner background, working in various industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, professional service organizations, consumer products & manufacturing. She was responsible for multi-site & matrix organizations supporting a wide range of functional client groups including sales & marketing, engineering, manufacturing, R&D, customer service, & corporate functions.

 

Previously, Carolyn spent 6 years providing HR guidance and leadership to Kimberly- Clark Healthcare and the pharmaceuticals sector, directing all start-up aspects including talent management, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement, and compensation and benefits systems. Carolyn completed a Merger & Acquisition special project by partnering with cross-functional teams on integration activities, establishing and merging compensation, benefits, performance management system, and HRIS platforms.

 

Her responsibilities have included but are not limited to: Strategic HR Planning & Execution, Human Resources Policy & Procedure, Benefits, Compensation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Culture & Change Management, Performance Management and Employee Relations, Recruiting, Organizational Development and Training Programs & Workshops.

 

In addition to her Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification, Carolyn also received her ADKAR Methodology Change Management certification. She is a certified human behavior consultant and DiSC facilitator through Personality Insights. Carolyn earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HR Management degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology at Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, NJ. Carolyn now resides in Cumming, GA with her family.

Janice Johnson

HR Consultant

Janice has made her career out of placing herself in service to others. She comes to Flex HR from UPS, where she spent 30 years in Employee Relations. Janice provided HR guidance and oversaw organizational development community relations efforts in her various Director roles.

 

Janice is passionate about being able to coach, counsel and lead others. She excelled at transitioning hundreds of employees in their careers during a transformational downsizing. She even created an annual global Employee Engagement Survey to gather and analyze input from over 400,000 UPS team members, managing UPS’s global Employee Recognition Program including Retirement, Safety, Years of Service programs for both union and nonunion workforces, and planning employee recognition events such as the 100-year anniversary celebration.

 

One of the things she is most proud of is the development of “UPS Road Code,” a free national program educating teens on safe driving using UPS training, in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of America. Under her leadership over 25,000 students were impacted by the program. Janice’s portfolio included the oversight of a $20 million philanthropic budget annually for UPS’s Global Volunteerism, Diversity & Inclusion, and Road Safety initiatives.

Janice received her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Arkansas State University and is a member Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. She then went on to earn her Master’s in Human Resources Development from Webster University.

 

Heart for Africa is a faith-based organization Janice is extremely involved in. Her missions include caring for orphans in Eswatini and strengthening the community by offering workshops to help them understand self-care, improving their communication and reading skills. Janice is also on the board of CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocate, providing services for vulnerable child populations, including foster care.

 

Residing in Atlanta with her husband of more than 30 years, Roy, Janice also has a daughter, Jessica who is an attorney. She remains an active member of North Point Community Church where she volunteers often.

Stephanie Ledford

HR Consultant

Stephanie is a high-performing human resources and recruitment professional coming to Flex HR with over 15 years of HR generalist, employee relations, training and development, and recruiting/talent acquisition experience. Her strengths include affiliating HR strategy to organizational and departmental goals, combating personnel issues and organizational development that align with organizational mission, vision, and values.

 

Although her HR passion is HR policies and procedures, Stephanie is also experienced in talent acquisition, employee relations, employee engagement, training and leadership development, benefits and compensation, employment and labor compliance, performance review processes, and human capital management.

 

Receiving her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Kentucky, Stephanie then earned her Master of Science in Human Resources at Western Carolina University. She also is certified with the Society of Human Resource Management and remains a member.

 

Stephanie resides in Florida with her husband and two young boys. She enjoys running and in her free time, makes iced cookies for friends, family, and sometimes clients!

Steve Lovig

HR Consultant

Steve Lovig comes to Flex HR as an accomplished Human Resources Executive with a passion for helping organizations create healthy and supportive work cultures. Nicknamed “Captain HR,” his experience demonstrates his abilities to improve organizational performance and promote a positive work environment. In addition to his HR roles, Steve is a former Adjunct Professor, writer and podcast host, and DJ at a few radio stations, including WSB-FM in Atlanta.

 

In his HR role, he has created impactful People Practices, including developing and implementing human capital management programs, leadership coaching and communication training for managers, forming Employee Rewards and Recognition programs. Steve’s key expertise includes leading business turnarounds, developing innovative talent sourcing and acquisition solutions, directing performance management and improvements, and creating impactful policy design to positively impact employee engagement.

 

Steve’s work has been known and published in various business and trade journals, including HRTech Outlook; Forbes.com; ManageHR, plus HR Decisions Magazine, Atlanta Business Chronicle, and Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was a Key Presenter at DisruptHR and has been a member of Forbes Human Resources Council, MBA.org’s Human Resources Leadership Counsel, and TMC’s HR Working Group.

In each of his roles, he has served as a trusted advisor to the C-Suite, a coach to managers, and an advocate for employees. Nicole is an experienced Human Resources professional who utilizes process-oriented approaches to build, develop and transform organizations and staff for optimum operational success. She has over 17 years of HR knowledge and is skilled in creating an employee-oriented, high-performance culture while emphasizing goal attainment and superior workforce optimization.

 

Her comprehensive background includes working at major companies like Target and CSI Laboratories. Nicole has a very broad knowledge base that contributes to her successful consulting including implementing HR policies, programs & procedures, compliance audits, employee & management training, benefits, payroll, leave administration, compensation analysis, recruiting & talent acquisition, performance management, and employee safety measures.

 

Nicole has built many start-up HR Departments with emphasis on compliance. Teresa Monday

Teresa Monday, Director, Compensation & SR HR Manager

Teresa Monday joined Flex HR, Inc. at the beginning of 2009, to lead the Recruiting/Executive Search efforts for all Flex HR’s Clients. Teresa’s responsibilities include managing the recruiting process, consulting with our clients on new hiring needs, talent acquisition, on-boarding and future talent growth planning with our clients. Teresa or a member of her team also works virtually or at our client’s sites as needed on a consulting basis part time when a full time recruiter is not needed year round.

 

Teresa is a proven and accomplished Recruiting professional with over 20 years of experience providing consultative services including both Corporate and the Staffing Industry to include 12 years of Management experience. Working both sides within recruiting industry, she has been able to provide upscale candidates to all her clients past and present regardless of industry or position.

 

Teresa has implemented HR initiatives that have had an impact on business objectives, has lowered turnover rates for companies by 50% within the 1st year of servicing a client by understanding the company’s exact needs and most importantly, driving their business performance. Some initiatives include talent acquisition, career development, compensation analysis, performance management, workers’ comp, train the trainer, employee relations, workforce planning, forecast needs, strategic staffing and talent management. Kyle Moore

Kyle Moore is a seasoned payroll & HRIS professional who joins Flex HR eager to jump in as a payroll consultant. In Kyle’s strong payroll background he began his career at ADP where he grew his diverse client base with complex payroll requirements.

 

Also proficient at Paylocity and HRIS systems, Kyle orchestrates meticulous payroll lifecycles for clients including comprehensive audit procedures, and accurate tax submissions.

 

Kyle earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Univeristy of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Califonia State University.

 

When Kyle isn’t buried in payroll responsiboilities he is chansing his 2 kids under 2 years old, that keeps him very busy! He loves to travel on the road and work from his RV several weeks out of the year exploring the country. Kyle is also big into music and plays guitar.

Jennifer Preston

Jennifer joined Flex to help manage consulting and recruiting projects for Flex HR’s clients. Her responsibilities include managing the recruiting process, consulting with our clients on new hiring needs, talent acquisition, on-boarding and future talent growth planning with our clients. Jennifer has worked with applicant tracking systems to assist clients everywhere through the country.

 

Jennifer was previously with Accenture and led global human resource delivery functions such as performance management, senior executive matters, career counseling, workforce management, employee relations, merger and acquisition activities.

 

At previous companies, Jennifer managed employee relations, compensation and benefits, legal compliance, plus performance management. At one company she managed the entire recruiting and selection process for all technical, consulting and management positions and independently recruited more than 75% of its employee base.

 

Jennifer is married and lives in Glenview, Illinois and has three active kids who live in ice rinks following their figure skating and hockey passions.  Jennifer loves to attend their events and games, work out, read, travel and take long walks with her dogs.

Vivian Rodriguez-Clarke

Her track record of building HR teams from the ground up, leading organizations of over 2500 employees and bolstering retention, engagement and performance is one of the many assets she brings to Flex HR.

 

Vivian is a strategic thinker and thought leader who strives to influence and advise other business leaders. She has extensive knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws, policy creation and execution, change management, health benefits, and compensation planning. She also previously supported a region of 10,000 employees providing employee relations guidance, service culture training and conducted HR audits across the organization.

 

She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Georgia State University. Vivian is very excited for her daughter to attend the University of Alabama. She has 2 rescue cats and one dog. Vivian and her daughter are volunteers at Fur Kids Atlanta a no-kill animal shelter. Danese Simpkins is a talented executive who comes to Flex HR with over 20 years of experience partnering with leaders to advise or support human capital strategies including People (HR) strategy implementation and execution, transformation, organizational development, and change management through the 3P’s – People, Process & Technology.

 

Danese held senior level roles from Head of HR to VP of HR for companies in various industries including mobile tech, energy, ecommerce and education technology.

Her educational background includes a Master’s in Public Administration with a minor in HR and Bachelors in Management. She is SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certified through HRCI and  holds a Certified Diversity Executive Certification (CDE) through the Society for Diversity, Leadership Development & Succession Planning Strategist (LDSS) certification from the Human Capital Institute and a Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) certificate from the U.S. EEO Commission.

Alison Straub

Alison is a dynamic individual with a passion for people and progressive experience overseeing various facets of Human Resources and talent acquisition programs. She is a driven leader who has spent over 18 years building strong collaborative and communication skills resulting in long term, productive relationships.

 

Supporting the essential functions of HR, her HR knowledge base includes on-and-off boarding, benefits administration, compliance, performance evaluations, employee relations, conflict resolution, leave management, coaching, training, employee engagement and assists in defining policies and procedures.  Her expertise is in talent acquisition and recruiting.

 

Alison received her B.A. in Psychology from State University at Binghamton. She loves family game nights and dance parties with her two daughters and husband. She practices yoga, meditation and breath work regularly. She also enjoys nature walks and sunshine with her puppy Ruby as well as books about spiritual and personal growth.

 

Another fun fact is that Alison is level 1 and 2 Reiki certified and excited to obtain Master level in the near future. As a Reiki Practitioner, she believes that kindness, empathy and mindfulness are cost-effective and powerful leadership tools. Melissa Whisler

Melissa’s long HR history of progressive cross functional experience in managing corporate human resource operations includes, but not limiting strategic workforce planning, organizational and policy design, compensation, benfits administration, employee relations, performance management, recruitment and talent development. She has worked for companies in the correspondent banking, health care, education, and community banking industries.

 

Commitment to building and sustaining a positive work culture through change management solutions and employee experience is Melissa’s passion. Her super power is crisis management, which played a key role in the HR departments she has helped build from the ground up for companies and in the many mergers & acquisitions she has been involved with.

 

Melissa is well-equipped with various HRIS management systems and is experienced in consolidating and implementing the standardization of policies, compensation, onboarding, and benefits processes.

Abby’s experience has spanned diverse industries including technology, beauty and consumer products, luxury retail, sports and entertainment, non-profit and legal, with emphasis on talent development, employee engagement and communications, re-structures and the “people integration” aspect of mergers and acquisitions.

 

Abby’a recent consulting focus has been on executive coaching and human resources advisory, centering on agile start-ups, private equity, non-profits and small-to-mid-size companies.  A strong believer in proactively growing talent for key roles, she specializes in providing individual coaching for “leaders on the rise” and clients in the midst of career transitions.

 

As a journalism major and former business reporter, Abby was able to segue her writing skills and curiosity to interviewing candidates and matching them with their dream jobs as a recruiter. Abby’s most pivotal experience was as Vice President HR for various business units and brands at L’Oréal USA, spanning a 21-year tenure, that encompassed different channels of distribution in mass market, luxury, professional hair care, and dermo-cosmetics categories as well as supply chain.  She further solidified her experience with mergers, acquisitions, and scaling businesses for growth, while building teams for launches of L’Oréal’s European brands in the US market. It was during this time that Abby attained the Associate Certified Coach designation from the International Coaching Federation, to assist and advise leaders through organizational transformation initiatives.

 

Perviously, Abby was Chief Human Resources Officer at Saks Off 5th, the off-price luxury retailer with 100+ stores in the US and Canada, where she rebuilt the HR function, following a restructure of the company’s business model. She oversaw the COEs of Employee Experience (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Development, DEI), Total Rewards and the HR Business Partner & Employee Relations teams.
